How To Get An Appointment To A Dental University To Get A Root Canal?
I know the names of the 2 universities in my area that have dental areas. They are Creighton university in Omaha and The University of Nebraska in Lincoln. I have been told that if you get your dental work done at a dental school it cost less and my wife needs a root canal but we don’t have the $1207 that it will cost to get it done at our faimly dental place

Go to the universities web site and you should be able to access that info via their website.

In the state of New Jersey it is very difficult to get an appointment at the University. I am guessing the same thing goes for Nebraska.
There is a company called Care Credit that is designed for situations like your wife’s. Many dentists use this service.
Basically what they do is pay for the services rendered and you pay them back in monthly installments. There is no finance charge for you. The dentist pays those. This service benefits both you and the Dr. The Dr. knows he will be paid and you don’t have to pay a finance charge.
Look for a dentist in your area who uses Care Credit. The web site is http://www.carecredit.com
I’m not sure if they list dentists on their site. If not, call some local offices. I’m sure you will find one that will help you.

Actually yes, is cheaper, but it takes more time than in a regular office. This is because the students have to analyze the case and go home and study it that day, they present it to the class the next day and explain the procedure to be done, then they will work on you the day after.
They really do a good work because usually those procedures are their tests so they put a lot of effort on you.
You just have to go to the university and make the appointment.
